Z400 shipping!

According to Fasternu, on the suzuki forum the Z is shipping, cant wait to read a first ride review. I cant believe that Suzuki hasnt let any out for testing in the mags first and for a photo shoot, but I guess there is plenty of demand, im sure they will sell all ofthe units they make. Hope they are sweet, the more choices the better.

I know it man, I'm excited to see how they do on the track. Gawd! I love it when new quads are released! It's great when you see them in the mags but seeing them in real life is what is so exciting. One of my friends need to buy one... I wanna ride it!

My guess is that it won't handle as well, just looking from the quality of suspension components. Enginewise, who really knows? Again Cannondale is the standard for off-the-showroom performance. If it is just as powerful as the DR-Z, it will be a 400EX beater for sure, but it probably won't touch the C-dales.

It looks like it will handle like the EX, but have more power down low, more top end, and it has reverse. It won't be able to hang with a Dale in a drag race but I wouldn't be surprised if it handled just as well. It will most likely give the Dale the most competition on the track and off.

I seriously doubt it will have more low end than an EX.. Look at the bore X stroke.
It won't be as powerful as the Cannondale or Raptor.
It's unfortunate that Suzuki decided to use the DRZ400S engine instead of the real deal (the DRZ400E engine). It incorporates a CV carb like the Raptor, so don't expect the instant throttle response the C-Dale & 400EX have - expect the "smoothed" feel like the Raptor has.
From what I can see of the chassis design, it looks just like an EX, with maybe a little more frame rake - should be good.
As like most others here, I am excited to line up against them at the races - It'll be nice having another competetitive quad out there on the course.

it all sounded too good to be true, I bet you are right.

The DRZ400 motorcycle is no where close to the performance of the Cannondale X440 motorcycle, so there is no way the quad version would come close to the Cannondale quads.
Suzuki is detuning their engine for the quad, where as Cannondale stuck the bike engine in the quad and called it a day.
The Cannibals will smoke the LT400Z's.
