So what will it take to remap a speed to get the performance of a Moto. Just wondering how much it will cost and how hard it is to do. Thanks Jeremy

Here's the deal with the remapping of the computer. Some dealers apparently do it for free, I'm assuming they do it just for their customers. R&S Performance charges $80, send in your computer and they will download the moto map. If you haven't been to their web site, it's the best C'dale site out there that I have found and the guys are extremely helpful:

I talked with Don at LS yesterday about what he will be charging once he starts doing it and he did not know yet. He's got the computer and the software on order but GP has his stuff on backorder. Apparently there is a strong demand, which is good. Or you can order the "stuff" and do it yourself, I've heard it's like $300.00.

Thanks alot briansgi. I am hoping to have my quad and buggy sold by easter so I can go down that weekend and get me a new speed. I was just wondering what it would take to get the speed to perform like the moto engine wise. Typical me trying to make something faster even before I have bought it. Well talk to ya later you going to be there easter or snakehunt. I am planning on being there on both or at least for snakehunt.

I'm planning on being back snake hunt weekend, probably arrive Friday evening and ride till dark Sat. and head back, rest on Sunday!!
Don't forget if you remap, spend the extra $ and get an aftermarket silencer, the HMF appears to be the best bang for the buck, they sell for $180, alot less than FMF and Big Gun's silencers. Don said he would start stocking it.

From OPTIMUM Power Technology the "Maintenance and Diagnostic Tool Kit for PC" is $500.00.
The other kits are up to $1,800.00...

It's an annual event, always the weekend after Easter at little sahara. The locals all go out and capture a bunch of rattle snakes and bring them to town, here is one web site about the event:

It's always the biggest weekend at little sahara each year. They place is always packed for this event.

Here's some good pics of the rattle snake roundup:

If you remember watching HuevosII, remember Johnny Hale in the rattle snake pit, this is where that was filmed.

The north camground at little sahara butts up to the small town of Waynoka.
