jmoney,how much did you end up getting out of that thing anyway? i talked to you before about it.i'm surprised you don't remember me.you really shouldn't have got rid of that thing.they aren't that hard to get parts for.but now whatever you get,you will just be a run of the mill quad rider.ever other quad in existence is a dime a dozen.when you have a tecate 4 ,it doesn't matter where you go with you will be the center of attention.

 

I got $3000 for it which wasn't a bad deal. The thing that was tough for me was getting front plastic. Mine was in real good shape but it had a small crack near the gas tank and I wanted to replace it. I tried many different places and couldn't find any so it kinda bummed me out about getting parts for it. Kawasaki didn't seem to have anything in stock anymore.

 

jmoney you can still find plastic,and kawasaki does still have a few p[ieces of it in stock.it's to bad you sold your,it was i very nice machine.

 

Yeah I kinda regret selling it now but my wife and I are building our house in a couple of months and the money really helped. We bought 24 acres last year and are putting the house on it, as well as the atv track which is mostly done. Too bad you lived so far away you could come check it out. A couple other guys from the forum have been there and will hopefully come back this year. I really wish Kawie would build their 250 2 stroke racer.

 

where do you live again? new york?i might be able to make it out that way some time this summer .maybe i can get in touch with you and do a little riding at your track.

I live in NY, about an hour from Buffalo. Probably about 3.5 hours from Cleveland. The trick was I got my wife a four wheeler and got her out riding a lot last year so she loves it as much as I do. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

What did you do to the plastic. No offense but i hate the whitwe plastic. but I love the quad. Tecates rule

 

killerfx, your bike rocks. I also own a trick Tecate (as well as a Cannondale) I will post pictures soon. I am a collector and it is nice to see someone taking the fastest stock 250 EVER and making it even badder. I will be in touch.
