Last time I rode at night, I noticed that the lights shine straight ahead. I would like them to point down alittle more so I can see where I'm going. The plastic appears to be in the way for starters, and than the whole front of the bike around the cover plastic also looks like it will be in the way.

Anybody fixed this without cutting too much of the plastice away?

dont cut your plastic!
remove the front cowling and reaim your headlights down(its only 1 bolt per light)
have someone help you because you need to sit on the quad in order to mimic your
ride position.
replace your front cowling...this will create a sort of eyebrow effect where you
will have a small reveal above(not a big deal if you do a lot of night riding)
the headlight.
a very small portion of your headlight will appear to be blocked at the bottom
but if you look at the bulb location(its up high)it doesnt affect night vision
its obviously a design flaw....but given the design intention of the cannondale its understandable.good luck.
