One of my friends as a DS and I of course have a Cannondale. It takes about the same time to change the oil. Although changing his is alot, I mean alot messer, Maybe it's him, but I still have oil stains on my driveway from it. He can get to his air filter quicker, but it's never been a race. you won't be sorry with either quad, ride both and pick the one that you like best for where you ride. You'll spend more time riding than wrenching on either one so who cares about the time spent on cleaning and oil changes.
You could get a CRF450 and replace rings every ten hours though, that's got to be easier.

$7300 OTD must be bottom of the line, cuz I haggled for quite a while and that is as low as they would go. But once you subtract taxes($500) and shipping($150) and setup($150), your right at $7500 which ain't bad for a speed. Also I don't know about your dealers but mine claims to do the break in, change the oil twice and check all the bolts before and after the breakin which he claims is about $300 worth of labor. Oh well I guess if I can pick it up and go straight to the trails that would be great.

BTW, I did find one dealer that would go down to $7150 OTD but he was an A$$, bad mouthing other dealers and stuff, and he had only been around for a year and had no financing, so I didn't take the chance.

cannitor, where did you go to buy your cannibal? I went to seminole power sports in longwood to check them out. they seemed to be o.k. there. did you have to haggle to get that price? I'm trying to decide between the cannibal and the speed. can't seem to make up my mind. jared
