I have a problem w/ mine stalling if I rode it in high gear at low RPM's, but then after I rev it out real good and ride it hard like it should be ridden, it would never stall.

If I putt around for a while, it seems to stall easier later on, but like I said, if I keep it revved up a lot and keep riding it hard, it won't ever stall.

That is one of the things im worried about because im the only one that will ride it like it should be ridden and my fiance will ride it fast but not hard. She will ride it 1/4 of the time at best until I buy her quad next year.

Exc- If you are going to share a quad, get the raptor. Next year when you buy the next get the dale. I think the dale needs to be ridden hard like a shee. Dales are neat machines, just not to my liking. Maybe in a year or 2 with a few changes, one might be parked in my garage. They are vastly different from the big 4 japs. That can be good or bad depending on your riding style/ability. Saw a couple at L.Sahara last week-end. They come out of the hole STRONG, but the piped raptors made it up in the middle. It was a coin toss at the finish line. I was expecting more from the dales. (they are hyped up on this forum alot as being missles) The raptor is not without faults. All the shortcommings can be fixed with a little $$$. (They are way over hyped on the forums also) How long do you keep your quads? How much do you plan on mods in the future?

Hey Crf, you know you can't justify a high performance quad! You want it, buy it. The cannondale's are definitely more ridable than a raptor for most, but I wouldn't put a casual rider on either quad. It will not be as loud as your CRF and won't 'load up'. I killed/stalled mine a lot more often when new than i do now. go for it Bud!
