How do I hook up my Pro Design kill switch? I tried hookin it up to the posotive wire on the coil but then I couldn't get my quad to start. I guess it wasn't getting enough spark to the plug? I checked everything, even unhooked the ground and everything to see if it would start but no luck. Then I just got tired of messing with it and unhooked it all and it started right up, so it was obviously the switch that was causing it. Now I pretty much have the switch there so that I'm allowed to race but it doesn't work. This weekend I don't have anything else to do, I'm broke and jobless now, so I figured I would just give the dale a complete go around including trying to get my kill switch to work. Any ideas?

LOL... well the scary thing is, I only have enough $ for one months payment so if I don't have a job in one month, I lose the Dale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope my Pro design will work... isn't there anyone else that has a pro design kill switch on their Cannondale?

You might want to call up kyle at R&S he told me and my dad which ones to hook up but I forgot. It's not hard I put one on my Mojave. I know one is a purple wire.

YoDaddy,

I'm not into electrons I'm in to Photons. Light not electricity. I think I read where that it needs one like on a snowmoble or jet ski. When you find out for sure post it. That's going to be my next item with Nerfs.

YoDaddy, you need to use a kill switch from the moto (or some have used snowmobile as mentioned). The reason is because the Cannondale needs a "normally closed" kill switch versus a "normally open". So the Pro-Design will not work on the Dale.

Also, I would not recommond going to the track with the kill switch mounted but not working. Most every track I race at they check to make sure it is actually functioning. And even if your track doesn't check it really is not safe to race without one. Good luck.

you guys need a kill switch that breaks the circuit do not use one that goes to ground there is a way to use one but you will need some more parts but if you use one that breaks the circuit and have the big red run/stop switch follow the wires from it down to the bullet conectors disconect one of them and conect one side of it to one of your kill switch wires and the other side to the other kill switch wire (other words put it in line )

Thanks Thumper,

I thought there might be an easy way to do this. You know of any kill swicthes like that. $50 bucks for a kill seams kinda expensive.
