Ok, I just took some pictures of my bike, all polished up and no time to ride.

http://www.hairschool.org/Quad.htm

The pictures are large. I'm not good at this digital stuff yet. The web site is mine but not to busy so you should be able to download them quickly.

Let me know what you think.

Awsome job with the polish Smitty!

Since you don't have time to ride, if I sent my Speed out would you polish it for me?

Sure you can send it, just not sure when you'd get it back.LOL

The Hot ticket was to use a metal finishing wheel to get rid of the extrusion marks and than use some 300 and 600 sandpaper. Than a polishing wheel on a die grinder did the rest. There are still parts to work on but I have time.

I have a red sticker so no LEGAL riding in the summer.

Smitty,

Nice work. The polishing is the most time consuming mod. you can do to a Cannondale, but also the one that makes the biggest difference to it's appearance...[duh]

Seeing you guys with the polished 'Dales makes me want to polish every one of them in the store....LOL

I would like to do that myself, but on a woods quad, it's pretty pointless. I already ran into that once with the CR I had.

Anyway,...Nice job Smitty

As far as coatings, I was thinking of having it anodized. CHanged my mind, after washing it, i'll take it to the car was for a DI-water rinse. When it dries I'll do the quick touch up with metal polish.

Knowsalot,

You could spend an hour on each bike with a brillo pad and water on the sides of the frame and charge more.LOL
