for another $1,000, what are ALL the differences between the CANNIBAL and the SPEED??? the Cannondale website doesn't give enough info

also... if I bought a Cannibal.... all I have to do is buy a $200 HMF slip-on silencer and re-map the computer to get the exact same engine setup as a BLAZE or MOTO?

& do the 4 'Dales have the same transmission and sprocket gearing?

thanks

Speed has Ohlins, 11,600 rev limit, Yellow/Grey Color Scheme, gripper seat(I think) and Tag bars.

The "new" Cannibals have Arvins shocks and 10,600 rev limit.

how are the Ohlin's better than the Arvins? are the Arvins comparable to the Showa shocks on an EX?

The Arvins are better than the EX shocks... or atleast the DS 650's shocks are and I'm pretty sure those are Arvins. Oh and the HMF costs $189 not $400 and I've heard of a lot of dealerships doing the remapping for free.

I would imagine the Arvin's are better than the Showa's, but I can't verify it. The Ohlins are just a higher quality shock than the Arvins, and there might be some differences, maybe more adjustability on the Ohlins also, I don't really know.

Like stated in another thread by 1986atc250R and myself, the Moto and Blaze have different sprocket gearing, but the internal gearing is the same.

I would assume the Cannibal and the Speed are geared for all-around riding

the Blaze is geared for top speed

and the Moto is geared for acceleration

am I right?

Actually, I think it's the other way around, but not certain.
