guess they never rode a cannondale, mags are soooo biased, I hate it that the C-dale doesnt get the respect it deserves!!!

 

DW's has lost any respect I had for them. To make quotes such as they did about the Z400 running with the Cannibal was just too much. It became obvious it was all about how much $$ Suzuki was paying DW's. They made a point about not having any other quads with them to compare the Z400 to, well why didn't they? How hard would it have been to bring a 400EX or Cannibal on their little field trip and do some comparisons? Of course that is for another issue so DW's can sell more toilet paper!! I've already seen posts in the Suzuki forum how the Z400 was spanked by 4-5 quad lengths at LS in a drag race against a Cannibal. All us C'dale owners certainly expect that to happen.

I'm not bad mouthing the Z400, for the price and what it has, the 400EX will obviously loose some sales. Which as far as I'm concerned is a good thing. The more choice we have the better and when more $$'s are taken away from Honda's bottom line, they'll come out with a new sport quad.

 

Then when the first shootout comes, the Z400 is going to eb the best track and trail quad. Then the next year shoot-out will completely contradict the pervious shoot-out. Pick up an old DW and compare a shoot-out of the same machiens with a new one, and you'll see what I mean.

everyone nows a stock raptor crushes a z400 and if its piped no contest.
same w/ the ds and the cadle. if a someone gets a z440 kit and all the go fast stuff and then races me, and then beats me. i will pay for for what ever work they had done!!!
mags should write the truth and not have to get payed off to make some sissy quad sound cool!!!

BTW, so all of you guys have rode a new Z400 then, right? and disturbed, you've raced one too, correct? I dunno about this drag racing you guys must do, cause around here its almost always 300ft., not no quarter mile on a Darn quad. If you honestly expect me to believe a stock raptors gonna beat a Z400 by 4 or 5 bikes in the 300ft, I'll trade my Z for one tommorrow. I have yet to see a Bad race between all my friends rides, 250R's, banshees, 400ex's, (sorry, no Raptors, nobody I know will buy one [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] )

LTRACER....you are correct.
Binfordw, 4-5 lengths in 300ft can easily be a difference in riders. Watch your language too!

 

binfordw, go back and read my post!! It was a Suzuki Z400 owner who posted he got spanked by 4-5 quad lengths in a drag race, it wasn't me stating that!!

regardless of who is faster cause I personallydont care, I just think that it is the next defacto standard in sport ATVing, I feel like they dont compare regualr quads to the cannondales. But anyways im glad its good, competition at its best. But the mag did say that a raptor would probably beeat it, and I bet it would.

 

disturbed, just because the Z400 is &quot;slower&quot; than a Raptor doesn't mean anything. You can't take a Built Banshee, line it up against a stock 400EX and when the Banshee wins, say that the EX is a piece of crap. I'm willing to be the Z400 will also out-perform the Raptor in every category except for power.
