haulin your explanation makes sense, I have talked to cannondale, they called me back!!! totally amazing! I am taking my quad to my dealer tomorrow nad they are to call cannondale and they will take care of it. Ill keep you all posted as to the outcome. 1/3 of the way he was refering to the dip stick, NOT 1/3 of the oil, 1/3 of the way to the dipstick line, which is about right.

Hey trout, sorry to hear about the oil thing. Haulin you said:

<< Why would anyone from a dealership selling a product tell consumers to do something that would probably ruin the motor for one and void any kind of warranty that they have >>

The answer: Because the dealer probably doesn't care about you and just wants your money! They know that if you blow your engine, you're probably going to order it from the same place you bought the quad.

Wait, I dont get it. Whats the solution to this problem? The Guys from R&s told me this and I wouldn't say anything about them not caring. I have much respect for the guys a R&s the mechanic Kyle worked with the mechanics at Nac's. Actually 1/3 doesnt sound bad. 1/2 makes more sense. But if you put too much in it will puke it up.

I called Kyle at R&S and asked him about the banjo bolt being the problem of the oil puking and he told me that it's new to him. He's gonna called cannondale tomorrow and get back to me about it. Since the oil puking has happened to me before.

Good!! It's about time we got a straight answer from someone!! Thanks for taking the initiative for this problem mxracer98. Be sure to tell us all what you learn. Perhaps start a new thread so everyone knows what it is we're talking about. I'm sure that it won't be the last time someone has a question about what to do and what is causing it. Jared
