Best nerf bars

Sounds like a few of you were lucky in getting them to fit without modification. AC only makes a dozen or so of these things every month for the Cannondales, so I figure it's a quality control issue. BUT this happens on bars made for other models as well.
atvaddiction, is this what these bars are selling for or what you are paying for them??......or both??

KNOWSALOT - I got one of the first 3 that AC made for the public (I already had mine on hold before AC even had them made) and after I drilled the holes in my frame, I had to use vise grips to pull the plate back to the peg and then drill the holes and bolt them up... easy as pie . I had a harder time w/ my DG's on my old 300ex because I had to take off the pegs and use those stupid U-bolts up front... not near as strong as the AC's on my Dale.
I would hope that the Graydon Pro pegs are a bit bigger. From the looks of the standard nerfs from Graydon, it looks like I wouldn't have enough room for my feet. I like having a lot of protection and those Graydons look like little dinky "one size fits all" kind of nerfs that would fit a mini quad. I also like the look of the AC nerfs a LOT more, but thats just me.
