Southern Cannondale Riders
#1
There is a hare scramble race in Batesville, MS this Sunday. It is Round 3 of the Memphis MotorCycle Club series.
I have been the only Cannondale rider in the series thus far, but have one more coming this Sunday, making it two this time. If any of you Louisiana, Tennessee, and Florida guys have an "off" weekend at the motocross tracks, make the drive up for a strong 'Dale showing.
If you need info, including a map, go to MMCC
No need for fancy gear. Just your Cannondale, helmet, goggles, and boots.
Hmmmmmm.....am I crazy for wanting more Cannondales in my race or what???....LOL

USUALLY, they are set up both. A stock Cannondale wouldn't have much trouble. The last race was at a new location and was VERY tight. I never bent a wheel until that race. I ended up with 3 bent wheels.
There is a guy in my class who runs a 400EX with +2 A-arms and he does well.
I want to see a DS650 enter a race so that I can follow him a lap and then pass having a nice wide trail......LOL

Hey Ryan,
There is only one race left this season.
Sunday, July 28 at Slayden, MS which is only 10 miles from the TN state line. It is about 45 min. SouthEast of Memphis,TN.
They don't have the site updated yet with this on the schedule, but will in the next week or two. You can check it out at MMCC
There was going to be another Cannondale rider at the last event, but he hadn't had his machine but two wekks prior and wanted more "time in the saddle" so to speak. He plans to attend the next race.
It would be great if you could come up. Holler at me if it fits your plans for next month.
Patrick

No.....Run what ya bring.
Power doesn't win races in hare scramble events. Endurance, machine setup, and strategy plays the most important roles. However...I will be first to say that the long fields come in handy when riding the Cannibal....LOL
No limts on dispacement or engine types except utility machines run in the utility class. Unless ofcourse you got some nut on a Rancher that thinks he's Bill Ballance.....LOL
Classes are determined only by experience.... A, B, C[Novice], and Utility[which is regardless of experience level]
Turnouts have been low this year compared to previous years from what I understand.[This being my first year in the woods]
I believe the last race only consisted of about 30 quads.
