Well, I picked up a Pingle kill switch from my dealer....and I'm having now luck at hooking it up. I tried all kinds of configurations, and I cannot get it too work. Can someone please tell me what color wire and out of which patch of wires that I need to tie into? I tried the all the lines running from the key switch and the On/Off button. Both the Blaze and the Moto show the kill switch still on the bars, so I know I do not need to remove it.....HELP!

Get a test light and see where the juice is comming from. Thats what I've always done and it's worked great.

I hooked mine up between the green wire in the main wire harness, the purple wire should work too.

We hook them up to the kill switch and not the ignition switch.

We have installed 3 of them like that with no problems. All worked fine.

Okay, the purple wire is the juice on the keyswitch, and the green is juice on the kill switch. I tried them both. I must just have a faulty kill switch then. I spent 2 hours trying every wire and running back in to check the wiring diagram online....

What are the chances, damn bad luck. I spliced the wires on it, thinking I was getting a bad connection with the bullet connectors, so I hope he doesn't give me a problem taking it back....

I think I might know what the problem is. Make sure that you have the "pull-tab" on the switch adjusted correctly. If you can pull up on the switch and you don't hear a very audible "click" then adjust the two thumbwheels so that you can raise the switch in the holder plate. When I first installed mine it wouldn't start - and this was the problem. You have to be able to pull up enough to trip the switch so that it will start with the pin in and it has to have enough travel available so that it trips the switch again when the pin is pulled and the pull tab goes back down. I hope I explained it clearly enough....

Yep, I sure will. I also called Scott over the weekend to get your radiator guard made. He'll give me a call when it's ready.

I can't wait to see your quad all done up! Man, it's gonna be sweet!

....thanks for getting the radiator guard in motion, I look forward to getting it. Are you able to get the yellow powdercoat for the guard? I look forward to seeing the quad together too, only part on it that makes it resemble a quad is the a-arms being back on it....lol. It is just a beautiful aluminum skeleton with a fire breathing motor sitting in it. I think I have my rear Ohlins sold, a racer with a Raptor is going to try it out for fit today and let me know, but it looks good to go by eyeballing it. JIM
