Special, I have not done my C'dale but it's probably similiar to my R. You of course need to remove your wheels, and the hubs. Next remove your brake caliper and brake rotor. Remove the 4 bolts at the very end of your swingarm, this is what holds in place the bearing carrier.
I'm not sure how the C'dale axle nut works but if it's like the R's, once you back it off, it will expose a c-ring. That c-ring is what the nut backs up against, at least that's how the R axle nut works. You then can remove the slider plate that goes between the brake rotor and the swingarm. Then the axle slides out along with the bearing carrier to the right, the sprocket and it's housing remains on the axle. Again, this is how the R's axle works and it looks like the C'dale is the same only *** backwards!!

I have the lock nut off there is about 1/4 inch play in the axel from side to side.On the axel there is a spine in the center witch holdes the sprocket hub on one side and the threads on the other for the lock nut. Both the threads and the sprocket hub are tight against the ring clips,How do I back eather one off so the ring can come out?
Should the threads slide on the spine given the slack to remove the
clip?

I hope this makes since I am not so good with explaning things,But really need help.My new axel is on the way.

I will try to type up a better explanation for you, but it came off real easy. Where are you getting your axle? What type are you getting? The reason I ask is because I had to cancel an order with on dealer today to order my LSR from K&K ATV. The dealer I cancelled couldn't be sure of when he could get them, while K&K ATV had them in stock for me. 369.00.........JIM

There will be nothing holding you up once you get the threads to slide off the splines, but this was a pain for me at first. I did not take off my sprocket hub or the retaining ring holding it in place. I pulled the axle through on the sprocket hub side. Slide the threads off the splines, use the force, LUKE.......JIM

Those half circle clips hold on the thread part that sits on the spline area. Sorry for the confusion, had to sit and think it through, took it off over a week ago. Just know that you have to get to those 2 half circle clips that hold the threaded piece in place on the splines. JIM

Once you remove those c-clips off the axle, that axle nut then should slide off the axle, this is how it works on the R's axle setup.
