My husband just bought a Cannondale Cannibal he was wondering what are the best tires & rims for flat track oval racing?

 

hoosier and american racer on douglas or itp alum rims are the most common

 

He is definitely going to need to lower the bike and put a sway bar on also. I saw a sway bar on a moto440 last weekend at the track made by a company named Agony Racing. It was a stout design and looked like it fit right on the moto.

Has anybody heard on this sway bar, I want one????

 

Is there a special type of tire I should be looking for when I am looking at the brand names you have given me. Also do you know a website that has good deals on them.

Hi boys n toys I run american racer 33 33 is the no. for the tire compound 44 would be softer wear faster.The tires are available from a guy named kenny marco he runs all the oval races also Jansen Racing out of kaukauna.You are only about 20 mi from my place email me sometime I would like to help you out I will be racing mx sun. at gravity park in chilton and after that I will be setting up for the TTrace in Iowa if you want to go we have room.We could probably set you up with some used tires to try out.
