Now Arctic Cat is also getting the Z400 what shame here is a company that has made some VERY high performance sleds and has made lots of money on Quads and they take the easy way to satisfy the high performance crowd just think what they could have done!Suzuki should be ashamed they are hurting the dealers that waited for a high per. quad and owner loyalty is always part of the equation all the dollars that quad sales have put into these companies and they take the cheap route.This is a perfect example of corporate greed and Honda is also guilty where is the quad we all are waiting for?Bombadier,Yamaha,Cannondale and Polaris are all listening and need to be congratulated!Suzuki,Kawasaki,Arctic Cat should be ashamed.

 

The sad thing is those quads will still sell even though they are identical. I'm sure green is faster any way.

 

Man but I bet those people who own them are happy cause there will be more after market parts.

 

What motor is in the Cat? Where's the info? I saw another post that said the motor was a 376cc. Who's right, and who's assuming?

 

Local dealer went to cat this weekend when they wheeled it out more than one dealer said Suzuki!Black plastic is only difference.

I agree, it probably is the Z400, but we really don't know - no specs released yet. Suzuki does make all Cat motors.
You could strip the plastic off the 400EX, Raptor, and Z400, and most Dealers couldn't tell the difference between these bikes - just like my ol' lady - 'cause they typically know little about riding/bikes, at least that's the way they are around here.
My Bomb dealer told me a while back he just saw the new Bomb sport quad - a 400! He said its called the Outlander. I said "the outlander is a utility!" He said "really?".
