That is just for the Hardware of the computer and some of the software to produce it.

The question is who helped do the DESIGN of the motor?

Here's what I remember hearing.....going all the way back to when they were just starting to develop the dirt bike. When C'dale first decided to get into motorsports, they went to an outside firm for design and development of the motor. I think at that time it was actually a true 400cc motor that they were working on. This firm apparently did not develop a motor to C'dale's liking and they tossed them out. Cannondale then made the corporate decision to hire knowledgeable individuals and design there own motor from the ground up, what we have now as our 432cc motor. This explains the LONG delay in actually releasing the first MX400 dirt bike. So, from what I understand, this motor was designed by Cannondale themselves.

I heard that a European comany called Folan helped C-Dale with the original design of the motor. I know nothing about them, but at least now you have a name.
