I can't get any socket to fit the stock headpipe bolts where it goes into the cylinder. They look impossible to get to. Do I have to take the tank off?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Sandgod, Take your gas tank out and it helps to remove the top bolt of your rear shock and move the shock back out of the way. A 12 point 1/4 inch drive 8mm or 5/16 socket works good for removeing the nuts that hold the pipe on. Good luck!

Yeah it worked, Thank You!! Must be a 12 point though of either an 8mm or 5/16. Didn't pull the tank. I had a wobbly w/ four different lenths of 1/4 inch extensions to get the various angles it needed to get if off. My wife put the washers and bolts back on w/ her tiny little fingers and I just messed w/ them for an hour to catch the various angles to tighten them up. Pain in the ****!!!!
