Well I have had my moto for 2 weeks now and have had a few problems along the way so I have some questions for everyone. Well for one I over jumped a double and bent my steering stem...I must say that this plastic is tough on this thing I have crashed it 2 times in the 2 weeks but the plastic still looks good just scratches. Has anyone else bent there steering stem...gotta love those handlebars LOL they didnt bend. I am also leaking gas after a race...does cannondale make the gasket for the gas cap? I also need a radiator guard or something a rock come back and put a hole in my radiator its nothing a little auto puddy didnt take car of. but a guard like the dirt bikes have would be nice..anyone done this yet? The only other prob. I have had when I crashed the other day I started rolled it back over started it up and had to push my clutch lever down and then I took off...well as I was getting ready to go back to the line for my next race it wouldnt start...it ended up the safety switch for the clutch come out. I am wondering if I could just put those too wires together (kinda like you do on a warrior) and if it will work by eliminating the safety switch. I hate to modify that but if I roll it in a race and go to get back on it I dont want to have to put the 2 little wires on every time. Well any help is greatly appec. Thanks

I made a radiator guard for my Dale. Check out the pics in my Yahoo pictures. Prices are $35, powdercoated to any color you want. It's saved me a couple of times.

Yamracer

First of all mine did the same thing on the gas cap. I told the dealer and they replaced it with a other cap. Problem solved. I think what it was that the gasket was missing or not sealing all the way on the first one.

They do make radiator guard w/ and w/o the scoops. Go dealer or find a aftermarket company that sells them. I got mine at the dealer when I bought the quad so I don't know who makes it or the cost it was part ofthe package deal on the quad.

As for the clutch lever I same problem. There are 2 solutions.
1. solder the connectors.
2. Trace the wires back to the wiring harness to where they connect and remove them. After removing them make a short wire with the bullet male ends to plug into both of the connectors that you removed (jumper). The down fall to this solution is if you remap or hook the computer up to the machince you have to disconnect the jump or else the quad with star t when you hit the starter button to link the computer to the quad.

I removed the wires do to the fact I don't truss the soldering to hold forever.

Hope this helped.

I think the cannondale and the Z are good for their own reasons. The Cdale is ready to race with minimnal add on's. The Z is very comfortable on the trails and handles well. I like the arm ripping power you get out of the dale and the better equipment you get right out of the box. I see alot of things that will need to be replaced on the Z over time. I have not had the same experience with the dale. Jumping both quads is different. The Dale loves to fly with the quick power band and better suspension you feel more confident. The Z jumps just as well, but I have bottomed it out several times where the dale make the jump with no problem. If there is anything else you want to know just ask.
