If anybody has ever tried to run 19" tires in the sand you know that you get a real bad twitchy type of steering. Feels like the tires are falling off. What camber would work for hard packed on 19" tires? Would toe/in affect anything also?? A Moto runs -4 degrees camber and no toe in/out. If I just bolted up 21" tires would the handling be the same in the sand. The Moto comes w/ 19" tires I think.... Any help is appreciated...

Those 19" tires SUCK in the sand! I would run the same camber and toe-in (-4 degrees camber is what I run with about 1/8" toe-in) in the sand and in the dirt, but with larger tires in the sand.

Yes I agree 19" tires blow in the sand. Will -4 degrees camber allow 21" tires to run w/o any weird twitchy feeling in the sand. I know it will work for 19" tires on hardpacked, beacause that's what C-Dale specs are.....

Camber shouldn't affect "twitchyness". You're probably looking more for a caster change.

Play with the toe settings and see if it stables the quad up, add some toe-in --- by changing tire sizes you are changing caster. Why you wanting to run 19" tires in the sand anyhow?

My 400EX starts feeling really weird in the rear (like something's very wrong or loose) when I set the toe close to zero - but it turns good, my cannondale felt pretty good at zero toe.

I don't want to run 19's in the sand. I am looking for the same steering I get w/ Cannibal A arms in the sand w/ the Moto Arms. Meaning: I want the quad to handle the same on hard packed w/ 19" tires as I do w/ 21" tires in the dunes.. You put 19" tires on a Cannibal and it turns really fast on hard packed and has "sort of" that twitchy feel....I will only race occassionally and don't want to change camber. If there is no other solution I will have to then.....

A caster change is probably going to be the only real cure, unfortunately, neither the Moto nor the Cannibal arms are caster adjustable.

I'd play with toe settings and see if you can come up with something workable.
