When I get my new Cannibal is there any bolts I should replace and if so with what? Also did they get the Chain Roller thing squared away? Is it true that u must adjust the valves every 20 hours or only after the first 20 hours? How do they react to water up to around the top of the tires?

Thanx for the answers

Chain Slider was a fast wearing item that has been fixed.
Valves should be done at 25 hours like the manual says but most I've heard wait until 50.

I'm in SoCal, What's water?

No need to worry about the water Kodiac. I've crossed and played in water to the fenders. Seems like cannondale is doing a good job of working out the bugs they've had.

the frame rails that go below the motor on both sides. . the allen heads that bolt them on get loose. the cannibal and moto we race both have this problem. they both fell out one weekend on the cannibal after being tightened about 30 minutes before.. i fixed this problem by adding double lock nuts. also we cracked one of the welds on that same frame rail too and specials speed cracked the same place. anyone else have this happen to them.

same problem with same bolts. Used grade 8 bolts with nylon locknuts. Havn't come loose yet. Also crack on frame rail weld. I figured it was from casing jumps. No biggie, got it welded and its fine now.

The first thing i have always done with any quad, bike or snowmobile is remove all bolts and loctite 'em. This is the difference between a good weekend ride piloting your own, or riding bitch. Hope this helps

loctite does no good on the frame bolts i am talking about. everytime they came loose we would loctite them. i bascially done the same as the other post. i used grade 8 bolts with a socket head instead of the allen and used the nylon insert lock nuts but i did use 2 nuts to be on the safe side. two weeks now and they have not come loose. i also used flat washers so the bolt head would not mess up the countersunk hole on the frame rail.
