I have a few quick questions for the members here.
How much is the pingle kill switch, who sells it and do you have to buy the plate to install it? Also does it come with instructions? How do you intsall it?
Does anyone have the PEP steering stabilizer/dampner or a similar style product on their cannondale, if so which brand, how much and overall how does it handle with and with out it? Do you reccomend it over the much more expensive GPR set up found on the blaze and moto?

 

I have the pingle kill switch, which I bought from R&S performance. It was very easy to hook up. There are no directions with the switch and yes you need to get the mounting plate. I think all in all it was $70, around there. The directions I got from this site, I think you plug into the green wire. I have no clue on the steering stabilizer though.

 

the pep damper isn't the best the weer is better or you could get the ohlins one on the blaze. as for the pep I find myself wishing it had a more firm setting. the three you chose from u really can't tell the differance between the three. I've tryed the ohlins night and day difference.

 

I got my Pingle from a dealer in Hampton, VA. $63 including the plate. The plate runs about 10-11 dollars. If you don't get the plate, you'll have to make one or mount the switch somewhere else(I don't know where that would be). For $10 and the factory look, I chose to buy the plate. Search Pingle for a thread a couple weeks ago or just troll through looking for it in the archives. Some decent directions are in that thread.

As for the dampener, all I know is that the Ohlin's is EXPENSIVE! Isn't it about $300??!!!! I don't have one.

 

First of all I have a 02 speed and bought the Pingle kill switch and I didn't need the mounting plate. The only ones that do are the cannibals and I think the 03 speed needs it now to do to the fact they changed the key mounting area to one like the cannibal. The blaze stabilizer is $350 to $400, I know this cause I'm checking into one of them. I should have an exact price this evening on the kit. As for the PEP one, I have one on my lt250r and it's better than nothing but it not rebuildable and has only 3 settings. If you're looking to buy one get a rebuildable one do to the fact over time they need to be replaced/rebuilt. I know this do to the fact that the PEP one I got is toast. Denton makes a 7 setting rebuildable for around a $150 and there are others that are similar in style and price. The Ohlins one that is on the blaze has like 22 different settings, so you get what you pay for.
