I am so anul when it comes down to air filters... I always have 2 prepped and ready to go. I change'em every hour while at the track. The track was unseasonably..(did I spell that right?) DRY. What are you guys using for pre oil? I have been using K&N for all my rides. Is there anything better? Open for discussion.

The maxama stuff is one of the best for dry conditions. It's what I try to use. Right now I'm using Bel Ray do to availablity.

I just switched to Castrol foam filter oil. I like it better than the PJ1 I was using. I could only oil a few filters with the aerosol, but the Castrol goes alot further.

I use the Honda airfilter oil. It works real well. Stays wet and tacky. I like the stuff in the bottle more than a aerosol can. You can't evenly coat a filter with a spray. I put alittle in a baggie, drop the filter in, and work the oil into the filter. Then I'll just leave it in the baggie until I'm ready to use it. I rotate 3 filters.

I use Maxima FAB1 - some of the best filter oil I've found. The carrier evaporates and leaves a VERY thick and tacky oil that won't "drain". Good stuff. It's also dark so it's easy to see coverage.

Aerosol's work fine if you don't just spray on and leave it at that. I spray it on, then work it in by hand (with surgical gloves) and get excellent results.

One can of Fab1 generally lasts me for several filters, in fact, I've went well over one season of racing on one can, and I swap between my 4 filters pretty often.

Personally, I'd like to see some different filter options available for the CD - not too impressed with the stock filter's ability to separate the dust and air. Anyone know if No Toil is planning on making a filter for it? They do for the bikes...
