Just buy it, you will love it compared to the DS. I trade my DS in for the speed.

I'll try a few, can't answer them all.

3. I believe 3-2 front, not sure on back.
4. Alot, haven't really timed it but I'm sure I can go along time. I rode 3 hours today and burned maybe 1/2 tank.
5. yes, I believe all produced since Jan or so. My Speed #24 does not.
6. I just use filter cleaner and foam filter oil. Not sure about the outerware.
7. Traction maps seem to not rev as quick on the 1st 1/4 to 1/3 throttle so you don't get so much wheel spin on takoff - more suited to trails as you can putt around easier.
8. For trails I like the Traction map, haven't tried the blaze map yet.
9. I run the HMF silencer, but I've heard some people like the Big Gun. Trinity is also supposed to have a full pipe out soon.
10. It was mostly cause by overfilling the oil or a clogged breather line. The line problem was addressed by a service bulletin and should be fixed on all new quads.
11. Fuel filter is no big deal, just change often and their only a couple bucks.
16. Balljoints don't have a seal on them so they are exposed and hard to keep grease in them. I heard there was a change with the 03's

Someone else will have to chime in on the others

Ok I'll try my best

Rear shocks is fully adjustable (preload, compression, & Rebound0
Front shock you can only adjust preload.
When I race I get about 1 hour and 45 minutes on a tank. Trail Riding is around 4-6 hours pending on how much throddle is used. I ride with alot of slow pokes on utility quads (it sucks).
For trail riding I would reccomend the blaze mapping.
Right now HMF make the best pipe system (its loud).
The oil in air box problem is solved on the 03's. It was something to do with oil pressure and over fill (ite think).
The fuel filters are reccomended to be changed every 25 hours. I change mine every race when I change the fliuds. For 2.50 at Napa for the Wix 3011 filer it's worth doing instead of a having the filter plug up.
I have nerfs that where made by my dealership and I still have the healguards on so they should work with the AC nerfs.
The only reason I don't let mine Idle long is do to it heating up.
The fan kicks on and off when the temp reaches a certain point. I would add a switch let the computer do it's job, better than forgeting to turn it on and overheating the engine.
For the rider TRim check out GP controls Website: GP control.

Ok here is my take as far as the filter goes just clean it every 5 hrs riding or like me after every time I ride. I ride for several hours at a pop.

As far as mileage is concerned you get what you get. Hammer the throttle like on a race and get little more than 2 hours. Ride the trails and get 4 -6 hours. This was already covered.

I run the HMF and I am very happy with it. I hear the trinity is good also.

The blaze map works well for the trails and such.

Also as far as idling too long don't sweat it. I had mine idiling for more than 30 mins in 90 plus weather and it is fine.

The rider trim I think for the basic setup is about $700

<< Now bare with me, I have alot of questions before I buy my Cannondale

1.How much Adjustability do the Front & Rear Shocks on the Cannibal have?
>>

Rear is compression and rebound adjustable, front Ohlins are only Compression. The front Arvins are non adjustable.

<<
2.What Handlebar bend is on the Speed, Blaze, & Moto?
>>

It's like a CR Bend. The new steering stem makes a good change. The top angles back with the stem instead of flatening off.

<<
3.Whats the Wheel Offset on the Cannondale?
>>

I believe it's +4 +1 on the fronts. It's wider than the 400ex offset.

<<
4.What kind of Mileage are you guys gettin, like in terms of hours?
>>

I can easily get 2 hours on it in a Harescramble race. I think you could get about 50-60 miles out of a tank of gas.

<<
5.Do the Cannibal & Speed have the reinfoced Swing-arms?
>>

The new swing arms are "boxed" in. They're very strong.

<<
6.How do you suggest I care for the Foam AirFilter,& Does anyone make an Outerwear for it?
>>

I'd order 2 more filters. This way you'll always have a clean one. I use the Honda foam filter oil and UNI cleaner. Put some oil in a baggy, drop the filter in it, work the oil through the filter, and ring out the extra. No one has an outerwear yet, UNI mfg's the current filter and has a contract with Cannondale to not sell them to the public for one year.

<<
7.What are "Traction" Maps?
>>

less throttle response down low so it doesn't spin as much

<<
8.What map do you suggest for mostly Dump & Trail Riding?
>>

I like my Blaze map with the Big Gun exhaust. It does a good job for woods and trail riding.

<<
9.Which Exhaust System do you suggest?
>>

I like the Big Gun. Good design and it stays together. The Full HMF kit seems to be a good pipe though.

<<
10.Whats up with the problem of getting Oil in the Airbox?
>>

Overfilling the oil and running the engine hard. There is a buliten to eliminate this though. THey have a new venting design.

<<
11.Ive heard alot of talk about the Fuel Filters, whats up those?
>>

There is a filter off of the back line out of the fuel tank. You need to replace them ever 5 hours. THey're $3.00 at Napa.

<<
12.Do AC Propeg Nerfs work with the stock Heelgaurds?
>>

No, not as they sit. You'll need to do some modifications or order the Pro Pegs with the aluminum guards.

<<
13.Ive heard people say that its not good to let it idle for long, why?
>>

That goes with any fourstroke. It's for the cams. Too much idling results in pre-mature cam wear.

<<
14.How would I go about installing a on/off Switch for the Radiator Fan?
>>

Really wouldnt want to do this. The computer is set to turn it on at a certain temp.

<<
15.Is there a way to install a Neutral Light?
>>

Not that I'm aware of

<<
16.Whats the problem with the balljoints?
>>

The new ones have a new design. Problem resolved. Now, the tierod ends need to be greased after or before every ride. They're wide open to the elements, and seem to get some wobble in them over time.

<<
& Finally
17. How much is the rider trim?
>>

The system that mounts on your handlebars runs $1300 I believe. THere's more info on R&S's website. www.rsperformance.net. I recommend you get the $300 GP Control software. THis will allow you to load fuel maps and check your idling. The Idling does drop over time.
