I was wondering if it is safe to run race gas in my cannondale. somebody told me absolutely not to run it. Somebody else told me it was ok if you have it remapped for it. I would like to get a little faster on the drag strip but dont want to do anything to hurt my quad. Will octane boost do the same thing as race fuel? Any information would be appreciated.

do not run it in a dale . it has no need for it the only reason to run race gas is if your compreson is over 200psi. where the dales are below that. it will make your quad slower. race gas burns slower. it will slow you down .

people think i race i ned race gas but not true.
i race every friday night and every one runs race gas and the funny thing i get the holeshot every time with 94.

The reason is the Race gas will eat the o-rings at your quick connects.

Race gas could be run if you make a new map and increase the timing to make more power.

Unless you have alot of hands on with the fuel injection and dyno, I wouldn't do this.
