Yea well I had to work my a$$ off both races to pull off both moto wins. And anyone that thinks 8 laps is a cake walk is out of their mind. I never thought either race was going to end. The first moto I came out the gate third and finally worked my way up to first. Second moto I pulled the holeshot and Ryan came out third. During the race it felt like Ryan was glued to my bumper the whole entire race. I watched the video when I got home and he was not on my bumper until the last lap. But a win is a win no matter if it is by a mile or an inch. I rode the last 3 laps of the first moto and the whole entire second moto with my right front shock blown out. I thought the track was in awesome condition and that Rogers put on a good race. It looked like everyone had a good time and I think it was the start of something good. I think next time there will be an even better turn out.

As far as the Captain showing up????? Im sure he raced Sun. and won.

did you go to west monroe ? kip did and talked to the quad riders and told them about the next race. he said a lot of them said they would be there. you looked good saturday night, how did your bud from tennessee do ? i dont know how long josh is gonna be quadless. we really want to make breaux bridge sept 29. they are having a benefit race for that boy that broke his back at fernwood a couple of weeks ago. all procedes go to him and his family. it would be nice if we could get a good quad turn out to help support this very good cause, they are gonna have all kinds of prizes and give aways.how many of you guys on here think you can make it to breaux bridge sept. 28 to help out a fellow racer. sorry they will not be running a money class only trophy class.

 

markvette- No, I didnt go to West Monroe. I stayed home and relaxed with my family Sunday. The guys Kip talked to are the ones that were supposed to come and race, but didnt. Justin, my friend from TN, had mechanical problems but he still finished 7th. Did you ever figure out what caused the motor to go? I didnt know someone broke their back at Fernwood. When did this happen? I am going to Casey, IL this weekend so I will look into maybe coming to Breaux Bridge on the 28th.

 

it was at their august race. he was a 125 rider and was only 15 years old. his name is scott wiliamson. he is still in the hospital in jackson. they dont expect him to walk again. did i post the wrong date ? breaux bridge is sept 29

 

first off did you guys see the quads there WOW!! second off congrats to mrp you butt hole good race. that was fun can't wait till next month. Hope now the word gets out and the sport gets bigger and better and alot more quads show up. Prays go out to the young guy who got hurt he broke his knee and his hip OUCH! R U guys going to breaux bridge the 22,29 usually alot of quads there. Josh sorry about the moto will it be back running soon?

yu rested up yet ? we will be in breaux bridge on the 29th but not on the 22nd if josh has a ride. great turnout wasnt it, i think it will be better next month. fix that bumper yet ? that 426 looked awesome but also looked like it was working you pretty hard. you ought to know better than to make a mistake with josh on your bumper. second moto josh was running third out of the hole and the guy in front of him didnt jump the interstate doubles and josh jumped the double and him at the same time. he just couldnt hang with chris on the cannibal. dont know on the moto, kip is waiting to hear from cannondale on it. later

 

fuller- Thanks man. You did good also. 8 laps was killer. I was going to race the 4-stroke class but my friends frame was broke and I didnt want to break it anymore than it was. He doesnt put too much abuse on it so I figured it would end up breaking bad when I was on it. What are you doing this weekend? You need to go to Casey!

 

Good job MrP and Fuller on your races. Where is Casey? I should have the moto back by the 29th. Who all is going to Monster Mourntains next race on Oct. 27 ? I am. That is by far my favorite track. See you at the races.

I plan on going to brobridge Saturday and then race there the following weekend.

I missed loretta Lyns so that was the best quad turnout I ever been to.I loved it.All you guys rode awsome.I wish I could say the same for my self but theres always next time[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]I cant wait till Christmas when my boy and girl get out there and race.There already going back in forth about whos going to win.Look out Josh,Shelby wants to be # 11 to.

So Motown is my speed faster than yours,LOL.

 

MRP,That sounds like some good class choices.They will give people some more chances to race.
