I don't know all the details at this time as to how it happened.

I do know that it was on that monster jump on his practice track behind his home and that he broke his femur.

He had surgery today.

That's all that I know. Maybe once he gets up and going, he can post as to what exactly happened.

i hate to hear about that; hes jumped that jump a 1000 times, but all it takes is one time to make a mistake and OUCH. Do they think its gonna affect his riding or do they know yet?

Hope you get better soon Eddie. I'm healing up from an injury too. So I know how it is first hand and it sucks. The worst part is not being able to ride. I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you and me both.

Thanks for all the symapthy guys. Everyone has been really supportive. I'm doing pretty good, should be riding in about 6 weeks, give or take. I'm sure that I'll be back at 100%.

As for what happened, I overjumped the double on my practice track while doing a candybar (bringing foot over the bars, then back). My foot got caught and I landed with my leg on the bars, the suspension bottomed and the quad and I did some kind of endo.

On the bright side, I've got pleanty of time to get the R fixed up, and 2003 should be a great year [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
