K&N filter setup.
I saw a moto a while back and he took the stock filter off and used a banshee pro design aluminum filter setup with a large K&N filter. He thought it made a good improvement. Is there any benefit with using a larger filter and getting more air to the engine?

There prob. is, but a guy would spend ALOT of time trying to calibrate the fuel injection right. But to do it right, it'd require some porting, fuel injection playing, and a big ol exhaust to get the fumes out. It'd be alot of work, and more than likely, you'd fry an engine trying to get it right.

It does, but not like a automotive fuel injection system. The O2 sensor is connected to the crank sensor, and ties in with that somehow....I don't understand the whole system yet, but I'm getting there. I'm suppose to go to the factory on Nov. 17th....and I have a WHOLE LOTTA questions!

Ok, this one I know.
The fuel injection does not compensater for a rich or lean condition, it has a Pressure Sensor inside the air box that will read Pressure. If you are at 0' it map will look at that as one of the parameters, than go to 10,000' and it will take that value from the map and inject X amount of fuel based on the other critiera.
Cannondale has a Fuel Injection Trouble Guide on their site.
Unless someone is running a O2 sensor in the pipe it will never be able to tell,.

I just saw on Rocky Mountain ATV's site that they have a K&N filter for the cannondale's. Has anyone tried one of this filters? If so what do you think of it?

Do they have an outerwear for those? I didn't see any available. Get a pic of it so we can see how it looks on the quad. I'm thinkg about getting 2 of them for the quad. Just waiting to see how the fit up and if they make outerwears for them.
