aftermarket cannondale steering stems,options?
The 2003 models do have a noticable steering difference from the 2002 models, but i haven't paid much attention to the bump steer aspect of it. I do like the way the 2003 handles. Which ever combination of changes were made to achieve it.....it was a good change.
This past weekend, I noticed a little slack beginning to come from the tie rod ends. After the race this weekend, I have a free schedule for the next two months. During this time, the 2002 is getting a complete front end overhaul. Not sure what i am changing yet, but a 2003 spec steering stem is definatly one of the mods that I am making.....along with Honda sealed tie rod ends.

The 03 stems have the tierod mount lower on the stem.(02 the joints would rub frame rail at full travel)They also have the bar mount at same angle as stem. Most of the aftermarket stems are same as 03cannondale it helps handling quite a bit I would check the price of cannondales might be the best price.
