Default Dale FI question

I have a guy telling me he has 2 friends who lost motors due to the FI. I sure do hope this isn't the actual case, because if it is I am going to have a hard time getting my foot/whole leg back out of my mouth. Can somebody back me up on this please. I will link the thread over there to this one if I can get some good responses. Thanks guys!

That is to vague of a question. Any motor can go for a number of reasons on any quad. Neglect could be the issue or improper break-in or anything... You get the idea...

I'm not sure how an engine can be "lost" to EFI... it isn't like C'dale engines are two-strokes where the fuel is the lubricant. Although if anyone is foolish enough to keep their throttle pegged when the coolant is bubbling over, hey, they deserve it!!!

I dont believe that either never heard of anyone wreaking motor because of fuel injection they are very conservative with the settings from factory and even the guys who are doing tuning dont seem to have any problems.I think some are just afraid of a new technology on a quad but the basic fuel injection has been around for a long time now in cars and motorcycles the engineers are quite familiar with it and so are alot of the mechanics just look at all the fast & furious cars those are just regular guys working on fuel injected cars nothing to be afraid of.

About the only way for that to happen would be a prolinged LEAN condition but you would know that well in advance.

I doubt it.

Thanks alot guys. I know that seemed pretty childish but these guys REALLY trash the Dales, or anything not Honda. Even though I don't own one I hate to see them get miss represented in a bad way by just a few people that don't actualy have a clue.
