stalled on his cannondale or 250r? i am still trying to get converted from a two stroke to a four stroke myself. got to remember, no gasing it over the jumps and gotta keep the rpm's up when landing. all most went over the handle bars twice yesterday because my rpm's were low and the big four stroke stalled on the landing. wish you a speedy recovery todd! airtime

airtime- I was on markvette's moto. It was just one of those freak things, the finish line tabletop at Fernwood got a new face and it throws you about 12-15 feet in the air and when I landed my arm snapped, crackled, and popped.lol. I guess things just happen that way. I jump my 250r the same way I jump a 4-stroke, wide open. I dont think it stalled because of the way I jumped (I had been jumping it that way all day and have jumped every other 4-stroke that way) I think it was just one of those things. If I had it to do over again I would have used my head and grabbed the clutch, but then again I would do a lot of things different if I had them to do over. 12 weeks and I will be back ready to go WOT again.

yea he was on josh's moto. thats 2 arms in 2 weeks that quad has broke. i dont know why it stalled. another guy rode it after todd broke his arm and had no problem. i dont know if something happened to the quad or if it was the 2 stroke 4 stroke thing. the boy that rode it after todd rides a raptor so he is used to the 4 stroke.

mark your gonna have a hard time selling that moto if it keeps breaking all the riders. lol
sorry to hear about your arm todd, i was jumping on my little practice track yesterday and almost stalled the cdale twice on the landing. just did not have the rpm's up and the motor almost went dead. of course i was still riding the handle bars to keep from going over the front end from the sudden stop. i have a bad habit from riding my two stroke. i hit the gas while going over the top of a jump. on my 250r it works pretty well, on the cdale, it throughs the back end around (i think it is because of the power and extra traction the four stroke gets). once i made my self ride over the jump with a steady throttle it jumped straight. kind of scarry with the rear coming around on a fourth gear double. mark will you measure the height of your handle bars to the ground. i think my handle bar bend is too high. i'm 43 inches from the end of my bars to the ground. also, smashed my right knee yesterday, trying to practice my 180 degree right hand turns. hit the plastic under the handle bars! did not have my knee pads on, want make that mistake again. mrp, your moto come in yet?

i will have to call kip for that measurement. we left the moto there this weekend, it was suppose to be sold but the guy backed out yesterday. what is your gearing on your cannibal. i went to change the sprockets on the moto and it has a 13/40 on it. i thought the moto was supposed to be 14/38. whats the date for the next AX in starkville. i think we are going to a 12 front for that or we can do like kip said and go to a 15 and run the whole race in third. LOL check out nac's, they have a bunch of dale stuff now
