I know a bunch of you ride the tracks down this way. Is there a place that has directions to most, or some of them? I met a guy from ND who is comming down in Jan and we are going to go riding. I was looking for directions anywhere within say 3 hours of Gulfport. I know exactly how to get to Rock Hill but what about the other few around?

Thanks for any help guys!

the only 2 i have heard of in that area is rattlesnake bay which is in the desoto forest and is nothing but trails. then there is a place in wiggins where a lady has hundreds of acres with abou a 1.5 mile mx track on it and miles and miles of wide trails. they dont take care of the track but it has a lot of natural terrain. she charges $10 a day to ride.

Ward660R,
When you get ready to ride a real MX track, just let me know and we will go right here in Petal and tear it up!

Thanks again.

Markvette have you been to both of those places? Rattlesnakebay is one of my favorite places to ride. There is a "jump filled" section of pretty wide trails right beside the road that is a BLAST, this is where I spend most of my time. The rest of the trails get too tight for my bike. The track in Wiggins is ok, its nice for me because it wasn't crowded the two times I went, if I am talking about the same one, kinda out it the woods, but I never saw any trails there.

Lobo I assume you are talking about Rock Hill. We will be comming there for a practice night for sure towards the end of Jan, after FSW. Are the practices still on Thursdays or have they changed it since my last visit?

never been to rattlesnake bay but have been to wiggins quite a few times. if its the same place, it is off from hwy 15 north and has a couple of ponds where the track is. there are lots of trails there and are more like dirt roads where you can get past third gear. we have also been to bethal and the sawdust piles in biloxi. all are part of the desoto forest. didnt care for eiher as the trails were tight and you could hardly ever get out of second or third gear. we havent rode much just for play in quite a while. our race schedule keeps us prtty busy but we do plan on hitting la. dunes this spring. i think lobo was talking about the track in petal which is not rock hill. the track in petal does not have races but i have heard it is an awesome quad track. rock hill has been closed for the holidays and i am not sure when they will reopen. josh really likes rock hill and has done real good there. later
