Oldsand,

I got it with the PC. Last night I couldn't do crap with it and it lost my hex code on my ECU. I went to the dealer today and they reloaded the Hex. All went fine with their PC.

What version of windows are you running? Mine is 2000
What PC are you running. Mine Compaq E500 P3

My system used to work until I upgraded my laptop to Win2000. Now it keeps crapping out my hex codes. I talked with Scooter at Optimum and they are looking into it.

dubya, I have the compaq ipaq pocket pc...windows 2000. Mine did the same thing, it hung downloading to the quad when i tried the optimum maps. The c-dale dealer re-set my hex code but I am not going to try to load any new maps for now. Would you let me know if you find anything out. My it guy thinks it is software related...any ideas? I also replyed earlier on the c-daler board. Any help would be appreciated...

Oldsand,

I just loaded my software onto a Win95 Based computer we had in the shop. I can upload, downlaod, perform throttle adjustments all day long. No problems.

I'm thinking its a win2000 issue. Hope this helps.

can you change inbetween any map??
for example
1.trinity
2.moto
3.nacs

And is it on the fly like for the holeshot you use trinity and after that turn you switch while riding to nacs the rest of race till the straight when you switch to the trinity??

Thats exactly it FastMoto,

We have a top notch ice racer up here that is going to try it. He does 3rd gear starts and needs more than one map. Example: He will use the Speed map for 3rd gear starts and switch to Moto map once he has the holeshot..

To the owners of Optimum Software. We will have the ability to reload the operating system(Hex) very shortly. Scooter @ Optimum says the .exe file will be available by early next week. Thought y'all should know

That sounds sweet man. Now you wont have to duke it out with the dealer/manufacturer if the map load fails.
