Cdale 27,

We'll hook up after you get back from th UP. Have fun.

MX,

My valves were always dead nuts on also. I will be doing a valve check later this winter, it is actually quite easy if you have mechanical knowhow. The RS method is the best method I've seen so far. Good luck man.

P.S. I've never foung anything in that back filter either. But thanks for the reminder, I suppose I should check it again soon.

Oh ok, that makes sence then. What updates should I check for? Mine (earlier model Cannibal w/ Ohlins) has been doing just fine this whole time and I"ve never had to take it to the shop, so some of the updates might not have been done if they were made after I bought mine. The only "problem" I have (I don't think you can really even call it a problem) is it smokes a bit when it's cold.

I don't really have the mechanical knowhow, but a buddy of mine that I race with is a lot better at this kind of stuff and he said he'll help me out.

Go ahead and tackle it. I will caution you though, take lots of notes, stick with it and get it done ASAP (Don't drag it out because you will forget things), and those extra parts you have at the end were probably not needed anyway. LOL

And most important......don't forget the beer factor. It's about a 12 beer project. Good Luck

LOL, you haven't done a good job if you don't have parts left over, LOL. I definitely won't drag this out over a long period of time. I have a lot of practice to do before my next race (Feb. 2) because I wanna atleast hold on to my 3rd place overall in the TQRA winter series. Thanks a MILLION for everyones help and tips so far! I don't ever mix alcohol w/ anything quad related (infact I RARELY ever drink at all), so I guess I'll just have to go with some poweraid or something . Hehe, you don't hear a lot of 17 year olds say that huh?
