After my 1st moto was over this weekend I parked my bike and waited for the next one. When it was my race again I pulled the clutch in and hit the start butting and the starter kept spinning
and would not stop till the battery went dead.I tried every thing I could think of to get it to stop.I pulled the fuse took the key out and it was still turning over. After the battery went dead we jumped it over with a car battery and it fired right up no problems since??????????
AW MAN I RELISED AFTER I POSTED I WAS LOGGED IN AS THE WIFE,LOL

I've had that happen before too. I wiggled the starter relay box that is bolted onto the battery mounting brackets. What happens it it corroads (sp) and jumps across and continues to send juice to the starter. Remove the positive terminal off the battery and then unhook the relay and clean the post and connectors. Reinstall and the problem should be fix. Keep checking this after every wash and clean as needed. Hopefully this is the problem (it was for mine).

Yea mark maybe 10 yrs ago back when I was in the experamental stage the mushroom would have fit me.Thats probley why I cant spell so good and get a late reaction time sometimes off the gate, lol.
!!!!!!!!!!!KIDS DON'T DO DRUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lt250r,I think thats probley what happened.I Tapped on the starter, the sylinoid and the start button
with the end of a screwdriver before I jumped it and it worked fine since.
Also the weekend before I had gotten it pretty full of mud.
I am going to go thru it this weekend and clean all the wire conections and look for any damage to any wires.
O yea Mark hope yall get back up soon with the EX.I know it was killing Josh to watch this weekend.
It shore is alot funner to race when there is good compition. This weekend there were 10 quads and none were realy fast,by lap 3 I had at least a half a lap on second. The 2nd moto after they had started and my speed DNS I jumped on Tuckers 90cc E-Ton and caught back up to the pack, lol.I believe I could have pased a few quads but Tyler's chane came of in the 2nd lap and I pulled off and let him finish on the E-TON.It was like a clip from the funniest home videos. The anouncer tried to keep up with what was going on and we had the croud lol.
