Getting parts for cannondale
#12
A "few" manufacturing and design flaws, that has got to be the understatement of the year.
A Blaster huh? Wow, was it the the pre'03 model with drum front brakes and a mechanical rear? Those are so sweet. I love dragging them around by hand since there is no reverse. Air cooling! Hell yeah, 70's tech at its best. Nothing better on a 95° day.
Here I try and give you guys some advice on what non-Cannondale riders currently think of your quads and you resort to bashing. I don't care, i'm not sitting on a worthless POS and holding onto to a dream that somebody is going to take over the division. Wake up and get out while there are still other people who believe in the fairy tale.

RockRider,
You got the right name. At El Cajon MX Track Monday, My dale was doing laps, not one Mojave was in attendance. HHHMMMM Wonder why. For your edifacation, You can ride your outdated, underperforming quad that your daddy, and mommy bought for your Christams Gift, we'll continue to ride the most advanced Quad that was made.
When you grow up you may have a chance to make a decision based on facts. I bought a Dale knowing the risk and weighing them against the reward. The Reward was greater so I took the risk. Now what am I going to lose? What is at risk? Money Nope would have spent it anyway. Time - Time for the quad to be down - yes. There are very few Cannondale only parts. Case, Head come to mind. Pistons are avalible, Rings are avalible, Seals are off the shelf, Gasket can be made. Valves are around. Injectors, computers, Harnesses are all still avalible. So the only big problem is the Case and Head. Thankfully these don't fail if you have the updates done.
You go ride your Majove with the Red Bow on the Tank, and allow for the Cannondales owners to take care of themselves.
Thanks for your input. Let the people who actualy know something speak.

Rockrider must be Kapt'n Karl in disguise... Must be something about the snowman icon...
Personally I think it's sad that someone is so miserable that their negativity shows through in such an obvious fashion.
Of course, come to think of it I'd be pretty miserable too if I had to ride a mojave....

I so much Love the knowledge and compassion we owners of cannondale posess for as someone who knows nothing and continues to blasthmey lame excuses and such are just jealous and have nothing better to do . Though if they want to find out just what it is like to get their A$$e$ kicked I for one and a few others are sure to let you have it .
Wanna start a flame go to he!! we dont need your childish stupidity .
As far as our rides well Ryanstones and Smitty have already set you straight on that .

Truth hurts doesn't it. Too bad.
There is nothing under performing about the Mojave. Try comparing it to other quads in its class, not 400cc machines. Morons. Kind of nice that I have 16 years worth of production and parts at my disposal. Anyone want to bet what will still be on the trail in five years?
Actually its too easy to make fun of Cannondale. Hey, I'm sure the aftermarket will pick upwhere the factory left off and keep the 5000 or so machines running like they did with the 250R when they stopped production in '89. Oh, wait a second, Honda didn't go bankrupt did they? And the 250R still dominates today plus you can still get parts for it. Imagine that. Anyone know how many 250Rs were produced? If I had to guess I'd say that it a smige over 5000. probably more like 50,000. I guess that isn't a fair comparison.
Still, you guys are right. I'm sure people will be willing to spend a lot more money trying to keep a quad, with no factory backing, up and running in the years to come. Why would anyone switch brands when you can work twice as hard tracking down parts and spend more and more money every year on replacement parts that are no longer available?

Rockhead, why are you spending so much time trying to convince us the quad we love is a worthless, hopeless POS? What's the point? I'm not out trying to convince anybody to buy one, in fact i would probably discourage it. Do you not think all us owners, many of whom paid CASH, are aware of the difficulties ahead?
Wait, that's just it, you don't think.
