We only have till August 11th to get our comments in before it is too late! These are some of our best trails in the state!!
A recent meeting showed - ATV supporters for their use in the Chequamegon National Forest were far out numbered by people from the Sierra Club and Environmentalist.
E-mail your comments to chequamegonnicolet@fs.fed.us

Letter sent, you have my support !!! I don't know what I would do if all those miles of trails were lost, my son and I go to Wisconsin a lot, and really love all the trails and beautiful scenery we find everywhere we ride. I hope more write today to beat the dead line. Good luck, let us know what happens.

Thanks!!
I am a little upset that I didn't catch wind of this earlier. I was all fired up to go to the meetings and overlooked the date (I get oblivious sometimes) yesterday. I posted the meeting dates and then realized, crap they already happened!
I am revising my comments and will get them in today also. I hope we make a difference!

If you lived in Michigan............you would know absolutely nothing about these meetings (courtesy of our orv board representative)........and you would have a hard time GETTING IN TO the club meeting where you would be informed of what was happening "after" the fact !!! (you cannot attend a Michigan atv club meeting without first ponying up some due money or being "approved" by those holding it).
I guess that it is never as bad as you might think!
