Every now and then I post the following link around the net on various ATV-related sites.

There are groups of people in the world who are actively working to take away our riding areas. While this is constantly irritating, it is hardly life-threatening. Some groups, however, not only want our riding areas closed, they clearly and proudly practice terrorism. These "people" aim to severely injure and even murder those they oppose....and those they oppose...are us! They show absolutely no concern that their twisted efforts could (and will) injure or kill children.

Good post. I can't believe how ruthless these @ssholes are! Every one of those traps will either kill someone or seriously injure them.

That was disturbing. I ve got chills in my bones. It scares me to think of the harm that could come to a family, to even my family, from these terrorists.

Its important that we and government and forestry officials know of these things, so that they can be prevented and guarded against.

We need all out war on these freaks of society. I would just love to catch somebody setting one of these things up....I would personally rip them a new @sshole and them use their sick little contraption on them.

Do you think they ever stopped to think about many of those traps that sit dormant until wildlife comes along to meet thier death? And they call themselves Earth First....what a joke![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

It makes you wonder if you've ever driven by one of those traps. I know how dangerous driving into a three foot deep hole feels, but that was just a natural washout. Does anyone know if any of those traps have been found, and if so, where?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

I use to ride the Barstow to Vegas run back in the 80's when I was just a youngin. If any of you are farmiliar with the race (non-existent now thanks to our friends at the Sierra Club:frown[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] then you may recall where you passed under the bridge. I remember one year someone sets spike boards under the bridge (we all knew it was the Sierra Club freaks but they never had the guts to admit to it).

It got ugly fast. I remember riders rallying around the pits with shot guns and handguns vowing to find those responsible and bury them in the desert.

I guess my point is that this kind of cr@p has been going on for a long time.
