ARRA (Americans for Responsible Recreational Access) wants to thank all those riders who wrote to their Members of Congress about the forest planning amendment and the Yellowstone snowmobile amendment to the Interior Department appropriations bill which was passed late last night. With your support, the House of Representatives defeated both amendments!

And ARRA also appreciates the efforts of those who wrote a few weeks ago to the BLM and to Congress about the misuse of Rec Fee funds in California. Rep. Duncan Hunter (CA) introduced and the House passed an amendment to the Interior appropriations bill that prohibits the use of rec fee funds for environmental monitoring studies.
