Public Land Management Changes
#1
Just heard the good news about big changes in how the feds will manage public lands. Invironmental impact reports will no longer be required for land use plans. This will make it easier to prepare and to modify plans. EIR's now only req'd for major projects. The other big change is in the manor in which threatened and endangered species are identified and managed.
The Sierra Club, the Dems, and the Wilderness Society are seriously pissed so this has gotta be really good news for the rest of us.
Thank you George Bush.

Tutle, you need to use the link button to do that. It's the fourth one from the right above the text box marked "http". Click that, and paste in your URL. Watch out for doubling up the http://. That will screw it all up. Then type in the text in the next box that you want the link text to be.
And on topic, don't worry, I'm sure the Sierra Club will be in court after the holidays...
