Here is a link to another forum. In the starting post you'll find a link to all the supporters of the Sierra Club, a greenpeace style orginization that threatens all OHV riders right to ride on Public and even their own Private land.

If you take a look at their "suggested" policy it is prety clear that it is an attempt to close all areas:
http://www.sierraclub.org/policy/con...on/offroad.asp

Licensing, inspection, impact studies, it all amounts to a way to basicaly shut down everywhere through burearacy.

With all I read on this site about so many people trespassing at will and their destructive riding habits providing the sport with such a poor image I don't know why anyone would be surprised. Those who do respect private property and the environment will pay the price for those who lack that consideration.

The Sierra Club doesn't care about landowners rights and this alleged willful tresspassing. They want the land to be preserved and would probably take away landowners' rights too if it meant preservation. They aren't any friend of landowners anymore than they are friends of the ORV community.

Probably is a an opinion, not a legislated fact. Landowners I know do preserve their properties in environmentally favorable ways out of common sense. Those who ride on their own land generally don't rip through stream beds, create mud holes or destroy ground covering for 'fun'. I'm all for closing private and public areas where environmentally destructive ORV activity is a fact.

Sent a E-Mail to the Sierra Club..

Dear Sierra Club and all its supporting members,

F*&^ YOU!! I am tired of you grouping all ATV/OHV riders into one group, "the destructive" group. Most of the riders are good to the land, and the animals around them, reading the signs involved with trail systems, and respecting the rights of the land.

I am glad to know that no product that I currently buy, or will buy in the near future funds the likes of people like you. I hope you choke on you TOFU pie.

Hoping you really do choke
ME

P.S. Didnt actually send it, But I wanted to.... So dont get to offended
