While I hate fireworks myself, I find it ironic that you speak of people who can't spell and you yourself can't spell deficiency. Do us all a favor. Don't resort to petty things like spelling in a attempt to prove your point.

 

Most fireworks are illegal here in PA, but I know from experience they won't push the law unless you are being a jackass .....ME LIKE FIREWORKS And I don't care who's lighting them off....did I mention we have our own manufacturer in Pittsburgh ? Sadly, I seem to find lots of jackasses. No offense. But I do. I live in the forest and in July it can get quite dry. Dry enough that anybody with even a brain the size of a peanut can determine lighting off fireworks out in the woods isn't real bright. But some idiot always does it. Now, if it were not for that, I would not remotely care about them. I just don't want some fool to burn my house down.

And in regards to the **** and vinegar (amazing how popular that saying has become, which I am fond of myself) you are right. I'm not sure what my problem is, but I seem to have a ample supply of both. I best retire for the evening.

 

Being a fireman I can definetly agree with you, there are a lot of idiots out there that will catch something on fire with fireworks in the summer, but I have been to 10 grassfires this year already and I am sure that there will be several more before fireworks season even starts.

 

Sadly, I have to agree that there are plenty of idiots out there that will cause some problems. This is true with anything - ATV's, sport cars, boats, firearms, etc, etc...

Greenhouse effect? A conspiracy if you ask me. Same thing goes for the whole Global Warming issue. Global warming/cooling has occurred for thousands of years. It's a cycle.

Poor Animals? There are new ones born each day, get over it. I sure had fun as a kid shooting kittens in the barn. Even more fun was dropping them from the top of the mile and seeing if they'd land on all fours!!!!

South Africa? Is that a country??

Hybrid Vehicles? Waste of time and money on the US' behalf. We have stricter air standards than probably 95% of the world, the extremely miniscule amount of change resulting from driving a hybrid has no effect whatsoever on the air quality when the rest of the world(Japan/China mostly) are pumping pollution into the sky at rates beyond belief. I'm sure you South African's are measuring the pollution from your factories, banning 2-stroke engines, and everyone is driving a hybrid right?

Fireworks? Light em up. Light some more. The bigger the better. Here let me try!! AMERICAN TRADITION-if you don't like it, well tough $hit. Life goes on.
