Good evening ReconRanger...Is it possible to get individuals to develop a fire in their belly's and actually fight the agencies and special interest groups that are taking away access to recreation and riding areas? It seems that many of the entry's in the forum are aimed at creating argument or furthering personal agenda's. Its obvious from your input and your requests you are aware of activities by State and Federal agencies and special interest groups aimed only at denying the public access to the land it owns. This is a nationwide movement on all Federally managed land whether USFS, BLM, the Wildlife service or the National Parks system. In Oregon the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has entered on the side of the Feds in an effort to eliminate access to all but a very small portion of the public forests and lands. This is an effort not based on safety, not based on resource damage, not based on impacts on wildlife but simply based on the premise that you and I do not belong outside of whatever little box they choose to put us in. Our paid managers have simply become zoo keepers and are now trying to treat us as zoo animals. I certainly hope some folks in your area will look around, see the threat and become involved. There is no way to match the funds of the special intrest groups but a lot of noise to a bunch of elected officials can offset a lot of money.......good luck to you........Tass
