Lewis and Clark Travel Management
#1
Check this out. Could have major implications for other Forests. It depends if anybody else copied their (Lewis and Clark USNF) process to come up with their own plan. Many National Forest don't want to reinvent the wheel, so they borrow various sections of other plans. We could see a number of riding sites restored if this is the case. They're all case-by-case though, no broad decisions since each National Forest is managed individually. Naturally, there are now various anti-atv groups looking to have the decision overturned.
*****I have not varied the validity of this info on the USFS site. Just going by what I read on the link below. Hope it's OK to link to another ATV forum. If not, I can copy the text and paste it below.

Yeah, You gotta figure there are lawyers looking at other management plans for similar wording and decisions that can be overturned. I guess we'll see in the months ahead. Worth monitioring....
