Snowy Plover VS Pismo Dunes
#1
Looks like this bird likes to drop eggs anywhere it can. When those nests are found, a nice big fenced off area is created around it. This is an inconvenience to those who aren't used to seeing a fence in their path that wasnt there the previous week. I was riding my R today (first time since thanksgiving) and there was a huge fenced off area right on the beach at pole 7. If you've been to Pismo, you know this is a high traffic area on big weekends because of it's straight shot out to comp hill. There were a few other new fenced off areas. I guess these birds can get little areas fenced off, but lets hope they don't get the whole recreational area closed dow. It's a possibility. I heard Sierra club is going to sue.
