I'll still take capitalistic leaning czars over communistic, socialistic, animal rights, ballet dancers, the government blew up the Twin Towers, types. I don't remember Bush saying he wouldn't appoint lobbyists. I could be wrong. But, I don't remember any vow like Obama made.

Considering how he's spent all his time providing trillions in payoffs to special interests and loading the government with lobbyists, he sure blew that one all to hell.

Agree on the lobbyist part. Not sure on the trillions in "payoffs" part. Everybody in Washington of any importance was, or is a lobbyist. Where he thought he was going to get people to work for him if no lobbyist are allowed, I don't know.

Jack Abramoff bring back any warm and fuzzies?

So I thought it was about the Czars themselves and the fact that he's appointing these scary people he calls Czars, a particularly important topic on Fixed News these days? I guess now we qualify the statements again...You'll only accept certain Czars, the kind you want. It's kind of like the spending and such, only on thing you deem worthy, otherwise......

His offices are filled with Wall Streeters...and they're all Socialists.....They're not capitalist leaning? OK.

Nope, all I'm saying is that if there are going to be Czars, I would prefer capitalistic ones rather than socialistic or communistic. I'm a great fan of being able to make a killing if you're willing to bust your hump and go for it. There is nothing wrong with making good money but it is and has been demonized by the left. (And I'm not talking about anything illegal here.) I'm just very wary of some of his picks that have very socialistic, communistic, or way-over-to-the-left views that are not with the mainstream of America. I say this qualifying with this statement about myself: "I am right of mainstream. Some of my moral views are 'considered' extreme due to my beliefs. My monetary, gun rights, riding rights, and those types of issues are based on reading the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Federalist Papers that outline the intent of the Framers of the Constitution."

Moose, Can you give me one or two specific people named to Czar positions that are communist or socialists?

What's humorous is that all the Czar uproar is about the fact that he's appointing people and calling them "Czars", as if it's something new. You sound fine with the Czar idea as long as they are right, or neocons.....which is fine, except Obama is not a Republican, and he gets to pick.

Nope, I don't think these "Czars" are needed at all. I think there are enough bureaus and government agencies to handle pretty much everything they are creating czar positions for. I'd rather not have them at all. All I'm saying is that if they are going to have them I'd prefer capitalists over communistic or socialistic leaning picks.

Cass Sunstein: I will suggest that animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their represenratives, to prevent violations of current law.

Van Jones (who "resigned"): “The green economy will start off as a small subset” of a “complete revolution” away from “gray capitalism” and toward “redistribution of all the wealth,” he said. “And we are going to push it and push it and push it until it becomes the engine for transforming the whole society.”

John Holdren: In 1977, Paul R. Ehrlich, Anne H. Ehrlich, and Holdren co-authored the textbook Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment; they discussed the possible role of a wide variety of solutions to overpopulation, from voluntary family planning to enforced population controls, including forced sterilization for women after they gave birth to a designated number of children...

These are just 3 examples of volumes of public speeches, videos, and books. These people should scare the populace with their proposals. Animals suing, redistribution of wealth (already happening through welfare), forced sterilization (gee I thought this crowd was pro-choice)... There are examples of czars wanting to cap private companies executive's pay. I thought private industry and the market are what decide how much someone can make. Not the government. Etc., etc., etc.
