if something negative happens to us or to our bikes that we felt the factory or manufacturer should have R&D'ed or fixed we will tell you. Why? because that gives you a heads up. We sometimes say stuff in the heat of the moment. Like when i call chet basically every name in the book, whether he realizes it or not. Its just part of the moment, and that i dont mean it...well usually. Now if you take what we say as us being vendictive or trying to "sabotage" a certain somebody then so be it. But when your Z400 frame cracks or your raptor tranny/starter takes a crap then dont expect any of us to feel sorry for you. We tried to help you. But i sure am glad the dealer got your money!

 

The posts that I put the most value in, is when they can put a picture with it to back up their statements.

I am not sure that the dealers are actually trying to lie, just ignorant of the issue. I know that I did not buy my bike from the first dealer I talked to because we could not have an intelligent conversation about the Cannondale.

Speed02- There is a dealer around here that isn't too capable of having an intelligent conversation.
They have had one new Cannondale left for months now. Each time I go in I say something about the quad. The salesman always lies and tries to tell me how he thinks someone bought out the Cannondale line and how there won't be a problem getting parts ever. He would probably try to sell it for retail price.

 

Dabeechman, your negative comments, I have noticed are usually only about four stroke quads since you are a two stroke man through and through. So I would be a little skeptical to beleive any opinion of yours about a new quad. Every adult man will form his own opinion of a quad and we can use help sometimes but in the end we'll make our own decisions. I ain't going to beleive every two-stroke is better than the new four strokes. Anybody who puts $15,000 to $30,000 on a two-stroke like a lot of the fastest should have the fastest quads there is. As for the original question I'm sure a lot of people do, I've been flamed by honda riders (one in particular) to many times to count. I got the same comment over and over. I think you seen it Coyotechaser the one were me and qwerty were going back and forth. I think you called us sad. As I said in other posts I'll defend every statement I make if I know it's a fact. If I'm wrong I ain't afraid to admit a mistake. In that particular topic I had too many people trying to play referee. If it was to offending to people a moderator would have squashed it sooner or later. Yeah, I agree with you about qwerty. I don't remotely have anything against dabeechman. I just noticed most of his posts are really anti-fourstroke, pro-twostroke, but he has been a member way longer than me and I respect his opinion. I just don't agree with the closed mindedness of two-stoke owners, sometimes. He loves his quad though and I gotta respect that, and I don't want to see the two-stokes go. I wish they'd make more, like the 250r, and all the quadracers. It would have been nice to see what a 650 or 660 two-stroke could do, if they developed the technology. As for dabeechman, he's probably seen it all and I know he ain't just talking out his backside like qwerty did.

mudslinger. When it comes to what i talk about i almost always know what im saying. I dont talk out "my backside" because there are a handful of members chomping at the bit to catch me in a mistake.

I am only anti four-stroke because there are so many 4 stroke owners on here. I sometimes feel as though im the only 2-stroke drag racer in this forum, so of course im going to flame on. Why? everybody talks about how fast there 4-strokes are. In all the time ive been racing ive never had a 4-stroke within 4-5 bikes of my gas bike. I havent raced sparks, and i know they'd be a lot closer. But the typical member doesnt understand what a fast drag bike is.

Me and chet are cool, i just give him a hard time usually cuz us guys are just that way.

If i flamed you mud, i dont remember so if i dont hold a grudge against you to where it sticks in my mind, i dont think you need to hold on against me.

as far as seeing a 660cc 2-stroke, our new 2-stroke bike is bigger then that.
