i have to wear glasses under my goggles, and naturally the goggles attract dust like crazy.
I found Moose DUSTR in RMATV catalog, so i called them, and was told it is discontinued!

does anyone have a trick or product i can use to keep the dust down in ther outside and inside of my goggles?

I have no idea other than a spray bottle of water and a dry towel.....might could try some of that anti-static spray for computer monitors....or that's anti-cling stuff for clothes (I wouldn't try this)

 

Scott Goggles makes "over the glasses" goggles that seem to work quite well for us.

 

You can spray PAM on the sponge filter areas to help filter out dust but you have to be very careful not to get it on the lenses or they will collect dust to. I just keep a little kleenex pack and use a fresh one every time I clean the goggles to keep from scratching them. Good luck

 

Try wipping your lenses with a fabric softener sheet. The addative to stop static cling helps with dust also.

 

Anyone use the tear-offs? I have Pro Grip goggles with the post but I haven't tried the tear-offs yet.

 

Oakley H2O frames with tear off posts , there the best goggle I have ever used , I have tried to ride with out using tear offs and can't stand it .
They are worth the money , if you look on e-bay you can sometimes find them for under 45 bucks and they retail for over $65

 

I just got some Pro-Grips with tear off posts but haven't used tear offs yet....

 

Scott's OTG(over the glasses) seem to work best when wearing a perscription pair of glasses
There is a company that will make any perscription in any goggle style...this lense attatches inside your goggle(almost any brand) and works great...you can change out scratched lenses easily...and you don't have the hastle of glasses while you ride...good luck
