Dirt Bike Q Who makes the better bike RM 125 or YZ 125
#2
The YZ seems to be better designed but those bikes are usually so similar it doesn't matter. Pick a color or whatever you can get a better deal on. Seriously though why not get a quad?

no doubt get a yz, but why not a quad?, get used rap or shee, maybe a kodiak even, doesnt matter if its 2 wheel or not ur gonna have much more fun, u can go fast anywhere without falling over like on a bike

My buddy used to race a CR 125, hes spnosored by a few local shops. Well, he went to an RM 125. Why you ask? Cause the CR 125 is one of the slowest MX machines out there.
I have a KX 85 (too small BTW), and I ride a Z400. I would take the quad over the bike in a heart beat. Quads just seem unstoppable to me (unless yur taking on a brick wall). My KX though, its been great, never brought it in for work, its the first 85 model Kawasaki came out with, got it in 2000. I havnt changed the spark plug in over a year, I run a 40:1 fuel to oil mixture, completly stock, only replaced the front brake and clutch levers numerous times.

i would take my raptor any day except for maybe the track. Granted the raptor isnt the best MX quad, just a quad in general doesnt seem as at home on the track as a dirtbike. If you know what your doing on a dirtbike, your can really rail on a track cause your not as limited to stability and tipping issues. Plus your only landing two wheels on the ground and not four but this is just how i feel. its obviously not written in stone or anything.
